A NATIONAL wholesale and distribution business has invested a significant six-figure sum to set up a new warehouse in Castle Donington. The Crewe-based Alliance Group officially opened its new premises at the East Midlands Distribution Centre yesterday and will start operations today.
It is initially employing 12 members of staff, four of whom were taken on through a scheme to help the longterm unemployed. Jobs created include forklift-truck drivers, warehouse workers and pickers and packers of products destined for the hospitality industry.See the full content of this document
