BARRIERS have been installed on land in parts of Derbyshire in an attempt to stop travellers setting up illegal camps.

Concrete blocks, mounds of earth, wooden posts and large planters have been installed by South Derbyshire District Council at sites previously used as a temporary home by gypsies.
