THE argument for using technology in major sporting events has reopened. Frank Lampard's goal against Germany at the World Cup clearly should have stood. It would be difficult to use technology in every instance but for important decisions - goals, penalties or sending-offs - teams should be allowed to appeal during the game.
Technology is used in other sports successfully. I am in favour of using it in football matches too, to ensure correct decisions are made.See the full content of this document
