Legend Lloyd Picks County Event for His Race Comeback ; Star of the 70s Is Determined to Make Impact On Return to the Road

CYCLING legend Dave Lloyd has chosen a Derby race in which to make a low-key racing comeback - two weeks short of his 60th birthday. Lloyd, who enjoyed a stellar professional career in the 70s, has gone on to become one of the most respected coaches in the sport.

DERBY'S prolific Shelton Striders running club were in action in four different races around the country last week - three of them half-marathons. But it was club stalwart Judith Marriott who arguably deserved the biggest plaudits, as she knocked three and a half minutes off her personal best over five kilometres.
